Alan Payne trained at Technikon Germiston and obtained his National Technicians Certificate in 1978. He started his career with the South African Railways in 1975. In 1980 he joined Anglo American Corporation in their Civil Engineering division and worked there for 7 years becoming a senior designer. In 1988 he joined Liebenberg & Stander. In 1996 he became an Associate in their Johannesburg Office and managed the civil division until 2002. In 2002 he joined
Development & Engineering Consultants (Pty) Ltd and become a director there in 2004. He re-joined Liebenberg and Stander Gauteng (Pty) Ltd, renamed L&S Consulting in December 2005 in 2005 as an Associate and Project Leader. In 2006 he was appointed as a director of L&S Consulting.
His fields of professional expertise include project management, and the conceptual planning and design of civil engineering services - particularly related to large retail and commercial developments. |
