Gianfranco Talocchino graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2003 with a BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering. He continued his studies & obtained a GDE & MSc (Eng) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2005.

He joined Bateman Engineered Technologies (BET) & was involved in the design of industrial structures. He started working for L&S Consulting in 2006. His experience is in concrete & structural steel design. In 2009 he was appointed as an Associate of L&S Consulting.

Noteworthy recent projects he has been involved in include:

Highveld Mall Phase 3 (Witbank); Audi (Sunninghill); Casseys Auto – Ford Mazda (Benoni);  Ikeja City Mall (Lagos); Mall of the North (Polokwane); Dwaalboom; Builders Express (Robindale); Country Club Estate; Morningside Shopping Centre; Renew-it Panel beaters; Little Eden Church (Bapsfontein); City Lodge Fourways; various office blocks and building extensions/renovations.
